Cub Scout Pack 3169 is a parent-organized and parent-led scouting unit that has been serving the Stow community and the children of the greater Akron area for over 80 years!

We are an active pack that meets year round. We typically meet on Tuesday evenings.

During the school year, we hold our monthly Pack meeting for Scouts in kindergarten through 5th grade on the 4th Tuesday of the month at the Highland Elementary gymnasium. On the other weeks of the month, we meet at First Christian Church of Stow for Den meetings. There, Scouts and parents will meet by grade and work on the Cub Scouting curriculum for their age group.

During the summer months, we like to get outside and enjoy all nature has to offer here in the Stow area. We use our Tuesday evening meeting time to go on hikes, go fishing, take bike rides, and engage in other outside activities and explore the world around us.

Our pack goes on weekend campouts to the Camp Manatoc scouting reservation in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park twice per year, once in the fall and once in the spring. We hold an annual Pinewood Derby at the end of January. Occasionally we will hold special events, participating in activities as varied as attending a concert by the Apollo's Fire orchestral ensemble or visiting the MAPS Aviation Museum in Canton.

We are exteremely proud that many former members of Pack 3169 have gone on as teenagers to earn their Eagle Scout rank.

We would love for you and your elementary school age boy or girl to be a part of our Pack, to learn about nature and citizenship, to help serve your community, and to continue the American tradition that is Cub Scouting.
